Are we mean parents if part of our Thanksgiving fun includes taking our kids into a cave and telling them not to be scared because inside there are only trolls, cougars, and witches bones? All the while Ellie is putting on her bravest face hugging on to Canyon telling him "Canyon we have to be brave. All it is... is regular old darkness and regular old monsters" They both claimed to not be scared but every time Shane growled they could be found clinging together like taffy to braces. We got lucky and all made it out unscathed with no sign of permanent psychological damage. Lucy was oblivious to this act of inhumanity sleeping away in the pack. So we are not really that mean. We only tease and torture the older children.

You guys always go to such beautiful places, even if they are haunted by regular old monsters.
Monica you are such a good writer!
Where were you guys for thanksgiving? It looks like it was in Southern Utah. Anyhoo - it looks like you had fun. And it is cute that Canyon and his sister would huddle close when they were scared.
P.S. I'm so glad we've got our blogs to keep up with each other a bit.
Where is that cave? Maybe we'll take the girls and their light sabers! Miss you guys already!
Why wouldn't you try and scare your kids??? It makes them tough! Wish we could have been there.
Looks like fun. We torture our kids too, anything for a good laugh right?
So I have not talkied to Steve yet, but if you go to the Settings Tab like before and click on Site Feed, there is an option that says "Allow Blog Feeds" it should say Full. Also if you go to Archiving there is and options that says "Enable Post Pages" it should say yes. If that doesn't work, I will put Steve on the case.
I have not been able to see your blog for a LONG time, so I'm so glad to see your cute family in blogland again! You guys always do such cool things.
Your kids are tough, they can take it!
